Ross Reeves had another 30-point performance, and
Ryan Davis added 20 points to lead the #1 Nova Southeastern Sharks to their 89th straight home victory and a 5-0 start to the season.
Jaxon Nap added 14 points and six rebounds for the Sharks, who moved to 2-0 in SSC play.

Both teams struggled to score early, but Barry hit two three-pointers to take a 6-5 lead. The Sharks went up on a layup from Reeves, but Breno Silva hit his third three of the half to give Barry a 16-14 lead at the under-12 media timeout. The Sharks briefly took a lead after a technical foul and a free throw from
Ryan Davis, but the Bucs took the lead right back on a layup that was goaltended. The Bucs led 24-23 at the 7:38 mark. The back-and-forth affair continued, as the Bucs hit a three to go ahead, but
Eli Allen responded with a tough layup to tie the game at 29. Davis got the crowd to its feet after an offensive rebound and and-one to take a 33-29 lead at the final media timeout of the half. NSU went on another run as Davis hit consecutive driving layups to push NSU's lead to 40-31 with 90 seconds remaining. Reeves hit a three-pointer, and the Bucs had a dead ball technical foul that gave the ball right back to the Sharks. NSU led 48-31 at the half.
The Sharks went up 52-31 after an putback from Eli Allen, and later went up 56-36 on an and-one from Nap. Nap had another spin move and finish at the 12:35 mark to push the Sharks' lead to 70-46. NSU scored layups off three consecutive steals, forcing a Buccaneer timeout, and they later extended the lead to 85-56, their largest of the game, after a layup and three-pointer from Reeves. The Sharks got two free throws from Jarvis Wright to seal the 95-70 victory, ultimately earning their 89th consecutive win in the Shark Tank.
